Jewellery Industry Network – Membership Terms and Conditions
Welcome to the Jewellery Industry Network. By applying for and maintaining your membership, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Purpose of Membership
The Jewellery Industry Network provides its members with:
- Access to business and industry information
- Supplier and partner offers and discounts
- Invitations to events and access to industry resources
- Opportunities for promotion to consumers as trusted industry professionals
Membership is designed to support, connect, and promote those working in the jewellery industry.
2. Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals and businesses involved in the jewellery industry, including but not limited to retailers, suppliers, designers, manufacturers, and service providers.
We reserve the right to accept or decline membership applications at our discretion.
3. Member Code of Conduct
All Members agree to abide by the Jewellery Industry Network Code of Conduct, which includes but is not limited to:
- Acting with honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- Treating customers fairly and respectfully
- Delivering products and services of a standard that reflects positively on the jewellery industry
- Acting with dignity towards colleagues, competitors, and consumers
- Avoiding conduct that could harm the reputation of the industry or the Network
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership.
4. Membership Benefits
As a Member, you will have access to:
- Industry news, insights, and business resources
- Exclusive offers, discounts, and promotions from partners and suppliers
- Networking opportunities and industry events
- Promotional opportunities through our consumer-facing channels
We reserve the right to update or change the benefits offered at any time.
5. Membership Fees and Renewal
- Membership fees (if applicable) are payable annually or as otherwise agreed.
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Membership will automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
6. Termination and Cancellation
- You may cancel your membership at any time by providing written notice.
- We may suspend or terminate your membership if you:
- Breach these Terms and Conditions or the Code of Conduct
- Engage in behaviour that harms the reputation of the Network or the industry
Termination does not entitle you to a refund of membership fees already paid.
7. Use of Member Information
By joining, you consent to your business name and details being shared with consumers and industry partners for promotional purposes, in line with our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide resources, offers, and promotions in good faith but are not responsible for the actions of third-party suppliers, partners, or event organisers. Members are responsible for making their own business decisions.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Members will be notified of significant changes. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
